Marketing Manager

An exceptional opportunity on a one year fixed term contract basis for an EXPORT MARKETING MANAGER with a global manufacturing organisation that boasts an impressive portfolio of FMCG products.

The ideal background we are looking for in an applicant, is strong Marketing, including trade marketing or category management and this should be clearly evident on your CV.

Knowledge of brand building, understanding brand performance and any experience of working with mass retailers in the FMCG sector definitely an advantage.

Working closely with the Marketing Department, you will ensure that marketing activity follows Company processes and is strategically aligned and the ability to develop both internal and external relationships will therefore be crucial.

You will also regularly review the product ranges and pricing to ensure the company offers the range that is optimum for the local consumers in their top 6 markets, developing the marketing activity calendar for Distributors, working with Distributors to realise successful implementation of agreed activity and also New Product Development, write Media briefing and brief media buying agency to come up with effective media buying plan etc.

Any additional language skills could be an advantage and a willingness to travel frequently to the markets will be essential.
