Full time Position
This individual will lead the EMEA product marketing, product readiness and commercialisation efforts to provide end-to-end market readiness and delivery for new product launches and product enhancements that are positioned to sell based on the needs of the EMEA market. This position required refining go-to-market strategies and marketing plans developed by Global product marketing for regional needs. In addition, the product marketing director will identify existing in-region and third party products and facilitate business decision-making around need for re-commercialisation, prioritisation and potential integration into global product development.
To be impactful, the Product Marketing Director will work closely across the company’s EMEA Financial Institutions and Merchant Sales channels, and EMEA Product teams, as well as EMEA Product Marketing colleagues. This individual also needs to build strong working relationships with the company’s Learning Organisation, Operations, Finance, Systems and Programming groups, and external vendors, etc.
Other duties include:
•Building the appropriate product marketing team with the necessary technical and marketing skills to serve as change agents in the business with the goal of maximising solution maps and commercialisation within the business
•Serving as a consultant for both internal and external customers;
•Sharing with Product resources, facilitating Quarterly Business Reviews and agreed upon actions using the solution map tools;
•Planning and execution of specific product readiness projects;
•Reviewing and fully understanding all business requirements and infrastructure;
•Coordinating cross functional internal and external groups to ensure on-time, on-budget and in-spec delivery to accomplish tasks.
•Performs additional job duties as required.
•Exceptional business judgement, strong stakeholder expertise, project management skills and the ability to handle multiple and/or changing priorities, multiple projects with a variety of complexity and scope and resource management skills required.
•Ability to build and manage a high-performing team with the skills and understanding of their role in the business.
•An understanding of the unique features and capabilities of the various company Authorisation and Settlement platforms
•Demonstrated knowledge of the unique characteristics of the various Sales Channels. This includes understanding the unique programming, pricing /commission, billing, training, and communication requirements that each may have. A working knowledge of operations/system boarding tools is essential
•Possess effective communication and relationship building skills including strong presentation skills and the ability to communicate clearly and succinctly in a variety of communication settings and styles. Strong interpersonal and negotiating skills to build effective relationships with internal/external customers and vendors.
•Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience; industry experience in project management, product management/support, business development or sales support capacity. Master’s Degree preferred.
•Demonstrable PC skills including using the Internet, HTML, and MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio; knowledge of computer systems, communication tools and software such as Windows XP, Internet Security, and file formats.
