About Our Client
Our client is the independent, industry-owned auditing organisation that provides a stamp of trust for the media industry. Reporting to the Marketing Strategist you will work as part of a small marketing team to build ABCâ€™s reputation in the industry, and implement the annual Communications Strategy
-Working with the Marketing Strategist to implement the annual Communications Strategy, ensuring that all activities meet the communications objectives;
-To manage annual marketing spend and ensure spend is on track with the budget;
-To work with and mentor the marketing team to deliver all day to day marketing activities across on & off line channels, prioritising resources accordingly;
-To work with the Communication & Research Executive to develop their capabilities;
-To develop a strategy to launch new products & services and deliver communications to support the launch, including PR, advertising, collateral production etc;
-To develop and implement ideas for tailored communications to different audiences;
-To deliver and measure a communications campaign to increase use of their company logo;
-To deliver effective communication to ensure that the benefits and value of their membership is widely understood;
-To manage all day to day PR activity including writing briefing documents, ensuring crisis management plan is followed where needed, getting swift approval of press releases;
-To manage marketing relationships with trade bodies including event sponsorship;
-To manage delivery of events with marketing team to ensure they are delivered to set timescales and within budget;
-To manage internal communication ensuring all staff and stakeholders are engaged and speak highly of the organisation;
-To undertake additional ad-hoc projects as directed by the Marketing Strategist and Directors.
You should have experience in a marketing role ideally at a management level. Strong planning and organisation skills are important. You should be able to work independently and manage your own workload, as well as having an aptitude to mentor and coach the team. Experience and knowledge of the media industry is preferable but not essential. Excellent communication, presentation and inter-personal skills are crucial. You will need to be IT literate, with competence in using MS office and PowerPoint. Experience of photoshop and content management systems is advantageous but not essential.

Position Reports to: Marketing Strategist
Based in our offices in Berkhamsted
Salary: up to Â£24,000 per annum
Additional Benefits: 5% bonus potential on annual salary
