My client is currently looking to fill the above position. The successful applicant to have responsibility for:

Print
• Responsible for proofreading documents using reference material supplied for currently 6 languages 12 currencies.
• Distributes foreign proofs to third party language proofers/ re-readers
• Responsible for marking up and sending out all translations requests along with issuing appropriate paper work (PO’s / Invoices).
• Liaising directly with the copywriters / translators and re-readers on any translation issues.
• When translations received – responsible for preparing the “translation kits” (buff slips) that are sent to the Production Co-ordinator.
• Check printer ‘soft’ print proofs for content only for new and reprint jobs.
• Ensures all live laser printing jobs are proofed and signed off for the printer to proceed with job at hand.
Web
• Responsible for marking up and sending out all Web translations requests along with issuing appropriate paper work (PO’s / Invoices).
• When translations received – responsible for preparing the “translation kits” (buff slips) that are sent to the Production Co-ordinator.
• Maintains signed off Web Proofs and files appropriately
• Proof and sign off with Marketing the English versions of the weekly email blast.
• Proof the English blog, and arrange translation with third party language proofers/ re-readers.
• Check web updates co-ordinated between Production Co-ordinator and Web department.
