Care Assistant
Band 2 SCP 11-13
Contract: 1248 hrs per year (this may suit 2 people)
£14,733 - £15,444 annual salary pro rata
A flat rate allowance will be paid, however the rate is under review
This is an exiting opportunity to join a dynamic team whose sole purpose is to provide the highest quality service to adults with a learning disability & their families/carers.
This role is being offered initially for a fixed term contract of 1 year on an annualised hours contract, which will be subject to review and possible extension after this period.
The candidate/s will need to extremely flexible, weekend and bank holiday working will be required, a commitment to learning new skills, team work & committed to working in a person centred approach, having a positive outlook and promoting both the service and Essex County Council positively are essential.
The successful candidate will be supported by having a thorough induction, regular individual and group supervision, performance objective setting and appraisal & training opportunities.
