Support worker for learning disabilities

Must be experienced in working with learning disability and challenging behaviour. Be flexible and work shift patterns.Work in a person centred approach ensuring that service users outcomes are met and can live valued lives within their local community. Must be focused on promoting independence and encourage th development of of life skills to enable and support independent living where possible. Will require experience in personal care, domestic duties, preparing meals, assisting with medication, shopping and possibly escorting out in the community to various activities.
