My client are a market leading organisation based in Surrey. They are currently recruiting for a Compliance Assistant to join their growing team. This role would suit a candidate who is looking for long term progression within their role. Key accountabilities for the post are as follows:
? Handle matters referred by business personnel and Legal Counsel - Europe
? Assist business personnel in client acquisition and business development and support, as required
? Provide compliance advice and formal submissions to the group?s clients, as required
? Attend meetings with the group?s clients, as required
? Assist business personnel in product development and training, as required
Candidates will ideally have the following skills:
? Ability to work independently without supervision
? Ability to manage heavy workload efficiently and give priority to appropriate matters
? Mature, resilient, confident manner with the ability to maintain the confidence of business personnel
? Excellent communication, presentation and influencing skills
? Ability to work under pressure
? Commitment to working as part of a larger team for the benefit of the group
? IT skills (Word, Lotus Notes)
