Drive Systems Account Manager/Business Development Engineer to £40k

Drive Systems Account Manager now required to promote sales of automation solutions, products and services to prospective and existing customers for an international business who manufacture control & automation systems. The successful New Business Development Engineer will be working within a company who invest heavily in R&D to improve product development with a proven record of supplying a range of solutions to demanding manufacturing environments.

You will be responsible for:

· Achieving and exceeding annual sales targets through maximising business opportunities
· Coordinate global, pan-European and in-country sales initiatives
· Preparation and presentation of quotes and proposals, negotiating and closing orders
· Establish, develop and build client relationships through visits, telephone calls and correspondence
· Develop customer focused sales strategy
· Participate in exhibitions, seminars and other marketing activities
· Keep up to date with market trends/developments

You must be commercially astute with excellent communication, organisation and presentation skills and ideally be degree qualified in an engineering/technical relater field or equivalent. Previous demonstrable experience with drive systems sales/account management or business development is essential.

You can expect a Basic Salary of up to £40k with Benefits including a company car/car allowance, bonus, pension and healthcare. There is a possibility of working from home with occasional visits into the office. Ideally you should be based within the UK Midlands/Home Counties regions.
