Electronic Design Engineer with experience of digital electronic hardware design now required for a market leader in power and automation technologies for the Oil & Gas/Petrochemical industries.

The successful candidate will be involved in designing, developing and testing electronic hardware and embedded software for instrumentation products as well as recording design conformance ensuring the product and documents meet internal and external standards and specifications.

Working to demanding technical performance, cost and time targets, the Electronic Design Engineer will also work with other design Engineers together with cross functional members of new product introduction teams.

In order to be successful in this role, you must possess a formal qualification in electronic engineering or other relevant technical discipline with solid background of electronic hardware/embedded software design, ideally in the development of industrial products. You must also have experience of digital electronic hardware design along with previous experience of embedded programming in C and C++.

This role is commutable from St Neots, Huntingdon, Cambridge, Bedford, Rushden, Corby and Kettering, and you can expect a Basic Salary of up to £30k with Pension Scheme.
