Our client a large EPC requires a structural engineer for offshore Oil and Gas projects.



This requirement is for a structural engineer with a construction bias who will join our Brent Decommissioning FEED team. . As an alternative, this position may well suit a senior structural designer who is interested in decommissioning.





The following is a brief Scope of Requirement:





Tasks:



Have a bias towards construction

Used to producing high quality reports

Carry out and manage analytical work

Require to liaise with marine/engineering contractor on structural issues

Liaise with onshore dismantling contractor on potential structural issues

have the technical ability to comment (if required) on subcontractor technical reports

Carry out audits as appropriate

Ideally able to produce own study quality sketches/graphics

Able to work as part of team and also work under own initiative

Used to working on challenging/unconventional projects

Ideally degree qualified
