My Client is urgently seeking and Assistant Facilities Manager for a part time role 15 hours per week based in Aberdeen. You will manage from a Facilities Management (FM) perspective one building.
Responsibilities; Liaise with customer representatives and stakeholders to resolve day to day FM issues, enlisting support from service champions and other managers as necessary. Where required attend internal and external meetings, and follow up any actions to a satisfactory conclusion. Ensure that Service Providers are delivering performance in accordance with their SLAs, including regular monitoring. Manage and monitor the activities of FM Service Providers, ensuring that their works are carried out in a safe and expeditious manner with minimal inconvenience to stakeholders. Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Proactively auditing the quality of Service Providers work and their adherence to their QMS, Assisting in the approval of invoices where required. Assist in preparation of reports and other documents as may be required from time to time. Carry out such other duties as may be reasonably required from time to time by the Team Leader. Support the Team Leader in the identification and implementation of improvement initiatives
An understanding of contract management. Needs a broad acquaintance in particular with with contracts such as cleaning, security, mechanical and electrical services and related contracts e.g fire alarm maintenance etc.
Health and Safety knowledge
Desirable to have a broad grasp of all activities within a building especially relating to building maintenance. This does not mean a detailed knowledge of technical aspects of building maintenance, but to be aware of heating and ventilation problems etc
