The Company.
Our client is one of the major Heating Brands throughout the UK and beyond. They have a reputation for developing reliable and leading edge products in the Heating sector. They are one of the most stable and strategically aggressive companies in their sector. They are now recruiting an enthusiastic Product Manager to drive forward one of their leading brands.

The Role
As part of their Product Management team, this Product Manager role is to:
1. Assess the marketplace and establish opportunities for new and current products such as domestic and commercial heating and renewable energy products (boilers, ground source heat pumps, air source heat pumps, solar, controls).
2. Create the technical specifications and business cases for products.
3. Bring new products to market
4. Resolve design issues once products have been launched.
5. Support the sales teams with technical information.

In essence you will be the last bastion for technical knowledge regarding your product. Wether it is new product development, or a technical inquiry from a customer. You will work closely with other marketers in communications and research.

The potential for future development in the role is either in commercial roles or a senior product manager.

The Person
Essential skills:
1. Strong analytical skills are essential to identify market opportunities brought about by regulations, product applications, installation practice, customer needs, environmental issues. This includes the ability to manipulate data in excel/spreadsheets.
2. Excellent knowledge of heating appliances, controls or renewable products.
3. Excellent communcation skills in both verbal and written forms. This includes being able to make powerpoint presentations.

Ideal Experience
1. Product Management experience.
2. Project Management experience.

The Package
A competitive benefits package is available with a salary between £32,000 - 35,000.
Good bonus depending on performance of up to £7K
Pension.
Fully funded car - passat equivalent.
Relocation expenses would be considered.
25 days holiday
Life assurance salary x 3

You should be based in the Midlands.

Relevant Counties / Regions: Nottingham, Mansfield, Derby, Sheffield, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, South Yorkshire.
