Senior Electrical, Control & Instrumentation Engineer now required for a business who have rapidly established themselves as a major engineering and site services contractor addressing large project services opportunities emerging within the UK’s mature nuclear market sectors. The Senior EC&I Engineer will be working for a business whose capabilities span the industry’s life-cycle requirements for high-integrity materials handling, process plant and control systems engineering.

The Senior EC&I Engineer is required to carry out electrical design of equipment to meet customer specifications in line with budgets and timescales. Primary duties will include:

· Producing electrical system circuit design schemes
· Development of electrical system design concepts to the complete design
· Carrying out design reviews
· Specifying and selecting components
· Generation of test specifications and overseeing approval tests
· Specifying and supporting the installation and commissioning of equipment

Successful Engineers must clearly demonstrate a strong interest and enthusiasm for innovative electrical engineering design, have good presentation skills to deliver technical presentations to clients, be self motivated and genuine team players.

Ideally you will be degree/HND qualified in Electrical Engineering and either be working towards or already achieved Chartered status. You must also have experience of design or application engineering of industrial control systems gained within the Nuclear sector with background of electrical systems design and component/sub-systems specification.

This position is commutable from Thurso, Halkirk, Crosskirk, Castlehill with a base salary of up to £40k and benefits to include Pension and Flexible Working Hours.
