RPS Health, Safety & Environment provides emissions monitoring, asbestos management, occupational health and hygiene services, training and broader consultancy on health & safety, fire, environmental risk and sustainability. To ensure that the health and safety provision for our employees is continually monitored and improved we are recruiting a Health & Safety Manager, to be based in our London City or Towcester offices.

You will provide practical EHS advice and develop management systems throughout the business as well as providing support to the business in the tendering/bid process for new work and work with existing clients. In addition you will investigate accidents/incidents, promote near miss reporting and conduct office and site audits.

You will need to have MIOSH membership and have a flexible and pragmatic approach to health & safety management. You will work autonomously and be able to communicate effectively at all levels within the organisation. Broad knowledge of health & safety and environmental management, gained in either a consultancy or industrial environment is essential. There will be considerable travel throughout the UK
