Our client requires an Operations Manager to have responsibility over driving the Nursery Managers in delivering a quality childcare service compliant with the OFSTED standards.

Able to provide strong leadership skills and lead and manage a diverse staff team.

The successful candidate must be experienced to effectively manage the financial and commercial aspects of a multi site business.

Have relevant management experience in a customer related business and a sound knowledge of the national standards for day care.

PC literate, with a clean driving license as the job holder will be operating in a mobile environment.

Strong management and leadership skills and the ability to prioritise a demanding workload in a dynamic and growing business.

Good financial awareness with the ability to manage budgets across a multi site business

Good numerical skills with the ability to interpret and analyse monthly management information including sales and occupancy targets

Must have people management experience with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

You will need to have the following qualifications, training and experience:

• NNEB, CACHE level 3, NVQ level 3 or equivalent
• Excellent knowledge of health and safety legislation
• Knowledge of OFSTED standards
• Excellent knowledge of the EYFS
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work to targets and deadlines
• Good time management skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong people management skills
• Knowledge and understanding of equal opportunities/SENCO etc.
• Previous relevant supervisory experience
