We are a leading national recruitment agency that supply tutors and NVQ Assessors to training providers, charities and colleges across Greater London and the South East and we are currently looking to recruit in all areas of our business, particularly NEET tutors, Basic Skills Tutors and NVQ Assessors in all disciplines.

In terms of the NEET Tutors, we are looking for people who can motivate and attract a more diverse cross-section of people by expanding the suite of creative hooks being offered (e.g. from music to dance, emergent technology and music) as well as offer numeracy training and qualifications in addition to literacy.

We want to recruit tutors who will grow the geographical reach of the project by establishing partnerships in neighbourhoods where NEET people are concentrated, beyond Vital Regeneration’s current geographic delivery scope;
and develop the age range of clients who can benefit from the service – e.g. from 14-19 years to 13-25 years.

In terms of NVQ Assessors we are looking for A1 qualified candidates in all disciplines who can follow the NVQ national criteria to take our learners through the course. This involves fully understanding the NVQ National Standards for the NVQ being assessed and being aware of the differences between the levels of NVQs.

NVQ Assessors should also be able to assess by direct observation of the candidates’ practice as specified by the Evidence Requirements, prepare evidence for inspection by the External Verifier and meet when required and ensure the full embedding of all Equal Opportunities policies and Health & Safety requirement (including Safe Learner Concept) are complied with and that all candidates are given fair access to assessment.

- Ideally be a qualified teacher (eg PGCE, Cert Ed, City and Guilds Level 1 and 2 or equivalent)
- Have worked on NEET/E2E programmes before
- Have taught small groups between 8 - 12
- Be able to work across North London

NVQ Assessor:

- Have an A1 Assessors award
- Have vocational expertise in your area
