Field Sales Executive x 2 (Waste Recycling)


Location: South East & Central Scotland regions

Salary: Basic + Bonus (£45 – 70,000 OTE)

A hugely successful operation, our client is leading the way in waste material recycling, both from an ethical standpoint as well as technically and currently operates one of the UK’s most advanced processing and sorting plants within the sector.

The Role

Due to their continued success they currently have a vacancy for a Field Sales Executives to cover 2 key areas; South-East and Central Scotland.

Working closely with an Area Manager, you will successfully implement an operational sales plan to achieve sales targets and objectives.

Other duties include;
Achieve a personal sales target within a direct face to face environment, liaising with a diverse range of businesses’ that produce a waste product – plastics, cardboard, metals, and other materials.
Visit the sites to collate information on material type, quality, and quantity.
Negotiate price and also logistics / shipping arrangements.
Ensure all accounts are up to date and maintain excellent standards of customer relations.

The Person

The role is predominantly field based (4 out of 5 days) operating within the normal working hours of Mon - Fri with appreciation to work outside these hours where necessary.
Candidates must have a strong background within field based sales and of negotiating sales / supply agreements whilst meeting and exceeding targets.
Previous experience of working within the Waste / Recycling sector would be a distinct advantage.
Candidates must also be highly motivated, organised and hungry for success.
