This is a great opportunity to join a privately owned pharmaceutical company with a varied product range. You will be an integral part of the newly developed team where you will be the point of contact for information regarding products for industry professionals and the general public in accordance with professional codes of conduct. You will be supporting marketing and the role with allow; and require you to keep abreast of new developments in specific therapy areas through research and networking.



Key accountabilities



· To maintain a current understanding of new developments in the specific therapy area, and to determine and carry out the appropriate action

· Ensure the Medical Information database is up to date and updated with new developments

· To answer queries from Healthcare Professionals, Sales Representatives and members of the public and to understand and adhere to ABPI, IPHA and PIPA guidelines, amongst others

· Develop and utilise SOPs regarding format and content of written replies

· Liaise with Therapy / Product specialists when appropriate

· To sign off documentation as part of the copy approval process in a timely fashion and to identify where breaches of ABPI and other codes occur

· To design, deliver and support relevant training to Sales Reps with regard to SPC and clinical data

· Support marketing activities and provide product support



Qualifications and background

Degree in Life Sciences or equivalent

Previous experience in Medical Information would be ideal

Experience of working as part of a team

Excellent communicator with a willingness to learn and an adaptable working style

Commercial and marketing awareness
