Health and Safety Management Systems Assessor required to lead single discipline and participate in multi discipline assessment teams delivering ISO and associated sector scheme certification. It will be your role to carry out assessments, surveillance and approvals for our customers, against the relevant health & safety standards. You will also have to discuss and justify the findings of the report and agree the outcome with the client.

You will have a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of hazards and their occupational health & safety risks, including relevant legislation and OHSAS18001, is essential. Ideally, you will be a registered lead auditor. It would be highly beneficial if your experience had been gained through a broad exposure to major hazard industries.

You will require excellent written and verbal skills and be a professional, pragmatic professional. You will need to be Nebosh Diploma qualified and be a member of IOSH. Ideally you will be Degree qualified in an engineering discipline.

The job is home based and will involve travel around your region you must be based in the South East. Occasionally periods away from home.
