The Background:
This leading consulting firm is actively seeking a Global Client Services Director to be based at either their Singapore or Wiltshire (UK) office. Managing the firms international HR consulting team based in multiple locations across EMEA and APAC you will provide international HR advice and solutions to this firms global client portfolio.
The Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
Provide strategic leadership to the HR service teams to ensure client services are provided within agreed terms and processes. Set and manage key performance indicators for each section to achieve revenue targets, budgets and ensure quality of client services.
Liaise with the Client & Business Development to gain a clear understanding of Client requirements and the terms for services to be provided by the HR team.
Manage own portfolio of Clients, delivering timely advice and services as agreed with the Client.
Ensure effective management of Affiliates in receiving countries.
Identify potential business development opportunities for other services offered.
Ensure systems are in place such that Client services are progressed as agreed and that problems/issues are highlighted as early as possible in the process and managed to a positive outcome.
Ensure the HR Services Team are committed and motivated to servicing client needs and that workload is effectively distributed throughout the team.
Work with the Heads of section to develop services and processes to provide the most competitive and cost effective product. Manage ad-hoc projects to this end.
Keep abreast of developments in International Employment Law, HR Best Practices and regional issues that will impact the Client base.
In conjunction with the Finance department, prepare and agree budgets and forecasts. Establish systems to review and control finances preparing contingencies as necessary.
Ensure the prescribed processes for client documentation across the business are fully adhered to in line with country legislative requirements, SAS70, money laundering and internal procedures.
Encourage continuous improvement of the company’s offering by establishing systems that allow team members share their experiences, lessons learnt, systems and processes.
Provide leadership, coaching and performance management to HR service managers, ensuring they have the skills, motivation and ability to meet the challenges of their role.
Assess resourcing needs for current and future requirements to maximise long-terms revenue and profits.
The Person:
The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience and knowledge of international HR services including: global mobility & expatriation, international employment law, immigration, C&B and HR best practice. Applicants must be competent people managers with the ability to gain credibility at all levels in order to effectively coach and develop others. The ability to communicate with senior client engagements and facilitate high-level meetings is imperative to the success of this role.
