The Job Electrical Maintenance Engineer / Shift Technician
* Carry out fault diagnosis (electrical & mechanical) and repairs.
* Ensure that all repairs are executed in a timely cost effective manner.
* Work with operations to minimise line downtime and maximise equipment productivity.
* Be part of a highly effective planned maintenance team
* Ensure all tasks are carried out with regard to Health & Safety and company regulations and procedures.
* Assume other responsibilities and perform special functions as may be assigned by direct report.
* Qualified electrician and sound mechanical understanding of manufacturing equipment and utilities.
* PLC experience is an advantage.
* Good communication skills in talking to operators to gain better understanding of the problems.
