Our client is a supplier to an extremely diverse customer base; from small independent retailers right through to large grocery multiple chains. The business is currently going through an exciting period of change.
To support this change they are currently recruiting Demand Planners, who will each be responsible for an allocated category of SKUs to lead the S&OP process, linking the Commercial, Marketing, Sales and Operations teams.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and optimise the balance between demand and supply
• Develop robust supply plans that meet the demand forecasts
• Undertake regular collaborative planning and forecasting with key suppliers in order to drive improvements in demand forecasts
• Generate and present weekly and monthly statistical inventory and forecast reports
• identify and present continuous improvement opportunities in inventory management and forecasting techniques
The successful candidate will have previous experience of working in a retail/wholesale environment, ideally in supply chain forecasting or inventory management.

You will also have excellent numerical, analytical and problem solving skills with a strong drive for continuous improvement.
