CV-Library are looking for a highly experienced Perl Programmer/Linux Administrator with a passion for technology to join our expanding team.
You will have an expert knowledge of Perl experience (mod_perl preferable) and strong Linux (Redhat) sysadmin skills. Knowledge of SQL (preferably mysql) and Apache is also necessary and a good awareness of load balancing, javascript, html, php and postfix is advantageous.
You will be reporting directly to the Technical Director and will be responsible for the company’s entire IT infrastructure when he is not in the office and there is the potential to become jointly responsible for all the IT within this growing organisation. This is a senior role and comes with a high level of responsibility however you will also be required to do some ‘dirty work’, for example sending out mailshots and generating reports for clients.
Your main responsibilities include:
* Writing new Perl applications for the website
* Optimizing existing Perl code
* Administering all servers that run the CV-Library website
* Database administration

CV-Library are looking for an Online Marketing / Channel Partner Manager to help develop online and offline campaigns to drive both jobseekers and Recruiters to our website.

The role encompasses all aspects of online marketing; significant practical experience in B2B and online marketing environments is a must. You will be reporting directly to the Marketing Director and will work with and be partly responsible for the internal Press Office and Web Design team.
The ideal candidate will be commercially astute and have an excellent knowledge of the full online marketing mix, including (but not limited to):
Key Responsibilities
* Producing sales promotions/offers, e-mail mailshots and post campaign analysis of results and support the sales team with marketing materials
* Management of search, display, affiliate and direct partnership channels to reduce candidate acquisition costs
* Responsibility for all offline marketing activities and corporate functions, events and networking events
* Email Marketing, both client and candidate side
* Negotiating, implementing and managing ongoing relationships with all key online and offline partners
* Knowledge of search engines, web analysis and reporting and analytics systems
* Search, SEM, SEO, PPC, Display and Affiliates Reviewing PPC campaigns (working with an external PPC search engine specialist)
* Develop and execute campaign/category specific online marketing plans with online partners
* Ongoing analysis of results and continuous optimisation to hit agreed partner CPA targets
* Recognising areas for improvement regarding website development, usability & functionality - from a user journey and conversion perspective
* Regular reviewing of search engine presence for key/topical terms
Knowledge and Skills Required
* Good understanding of SEO and PPC
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Energy and passion for marketing with a bright and analytical mindset
* Knowledge and use of online analytics tools
* Demonstrate ability to manage budgets
* Negotiation skills
* Enthusiastic and pro-active
* Excellent IT Skills (MS Word, Excel, Office and PowerPoint, Photoshop and Adobe In-Design) are necessary and a basic understanding of HTML is preferred as is some design or graphics skills
* Educated to Degree level or equivalent. CIM or Marketing Degree preferred
