An expanding asbestos/environmental compliance company is currently looking for a Legionella Risk Assessor/Asbestos Surveyor to cover contracts predominately in the South East area.
They are looking for a polished professional who has attended an approved Risk Assessment course, ideally City and Guilds and possesses the P402 asbestos certificate and has varied experience within these two roles and within the water treatment industry and asbestos industry.
The main responsibilities:
Carrying out Legionella risk assessments in line with ACOP L8 risk assessments, producing schematic drawings and final documents including for clients.
Part of the role is providing recommendations and prices for remedial works, routine control measures through to quotations, and carrying out such works based on the risk assessment.
Carrying out monthly temperature testing and water sampling.
Carrying out surveys of water systems and supplies as per ACOP L8.
Writing up reports and attending meetings with clients to discuss findings of reports.
Carrying out asbestos Management, Refurbishment/ Demolition surveys on commercial, industrial and domestic properties.
Collating and producing accurate asbestos reports as and when required.
Developing and maintaining good relationship with the company's portfolio of clients.
