We are currently recruiting Telemarketing Coordinators to join our busy team based in Cumbernauld, Scotland.
 
Purpose and Responsibilities
Key purpose of the Telemarketing Coordinator role is information gathering with a view to establishing quality first appointments on behalf of the UK & Ireland Service Sales team, by contacting ‘end user’ customers or their third party representatives. In full, the responsibilities associated with this role include:
 
- Identifying quality first appointments for UKI Service Sales team
Online research of marketing potential and ensuring the information gathered is accurate and kept up to date.
- To assist in the development of the future sales business.
- Strategic targeting of end users, multi-site and national companies.
- Planning, issuing and follow up of mailshots to strategically selected clients, in line with sales and marketing plan.
- Effective handling of enquiries from customers via telephone and email
- Ensuring that the customer database is maintained and updated on a daily basis.
- Administrative duties in relation to market research and ensuring that a smooth and efficient operation is effected and maintained at all times (PowerPoint, Excel and Word).
- General assistance with sales support function, as required
 
Additional Requirements
Travel may be required for training & development workshops including UK & Ireland sales meetings.

Service Lead Technician - Industrial Refrigeration
 
Reports to Field Ops Team Leader
 
Job Scope & Purpose
Focus on design, commissioning and inspection and trouble shooting of highly complex systems within set timeframe and according to defined process, service agreements and customer needs
Primary 'on site' customer contact for technical installation and/or service issues. May be considered the 'face' of Johnson Controls at the customer site
Resolves highly complex customer request / calls as dispatched
Develops positive customer relationships, ensures pro-active feedback on and documentation of the customer's equipment and systems status and of work completed
May act as on site project leader and provides technical coaching to less experienced service team members and coordinates on site work activity for highly complex and multi person jobs. May include overlooking activities of subcontractors.
 
Scope: Field operations -Industrial Refrigeration S&S
 
Key Accountabilities
Leads diagnosis and repairs systems malfunctions requiring specific technical knowledge and relevant qualifications as well as an understanding on time and material requirements. Seeks clarification and technical support where needed and escalates issues as appropriate.
Under general supervision, installs, starts up and commissions systems in line with defined regulations, standards and processes.
Understands and analyzes relevant technical documents such as electrical schemes, fluid schemes, piping diagrams, psychometric diagrams, etc.
Communicates with customer upon arrival and before leaving the work site. Meets regularly with customer to become familiar with operating problems and reach full understanding of customer needs.
Keeps customer informed on the nature of service provided, outstanding issues, recommends system enhancement/upgrade/replacement and promotes the sale of change orders and/or additional labour & material work (L&M).
Advises and trains customer in system operations.
Documents work completed in a clear and concise way and promptly submits service reports.
Maintains and improves technical proficiency in Johnson Control's product lines.
Ensures compliance with the Johnson Controls safety culture and adheres to all applicable safety standards, requirements and equipment.
Ensures compliance with environmental and industry regulations, where required.
In addition to the above mentioned tasks, other activities and responsibilities may be individually defined.
 
Position Requirements
Relevant qualifications in the specific Industrial Refrigeration trade
Ammonia certification is essential
Complex product knowledge and advanced system knowledge
Must have experience of dealing with Industrial Refrigeration units not commercial
 
This position is to be based from Wallasey, UK.

Reports to Service Team Leader / Client Service Manager
 
Job Scope & Purpose
To provide technical support to Service Technicians based in the field and the Service Team Leader/Client Service Manager.
 
Scope: field operations – Service & Technology
 
Key Accountabilities
* Provides ongoing technical support by conducting Tool Box Calls, PAT, technician bulletins and updates as well as escalates issues as appropriate.
* Leads the team and demonstrates responsibility
* Handles warranty claims and ICA management as well as contract management

* Provides training coordination to the Service Technicians
* Ensures compliance with the Johnson Controls safety culture and adheres to all applicable safety standards, requirements and equipment.
* Ensures compliance with environmental and industry regulations, where required.
* In addition to the above mentioned tasks, other activities and responsibilities may be individually defined.
Position Requirements
* Relevant qualifications in the specific trade (e.g. BAS/BNS, HVAC, Refrigeration)
* Complex product knowledge and advanced system knowledge
* A demonstrable track record within the Refrigeration Industry which must include technical knowledge of chillers, Splits and VRV’s
* A flexible attitude and work ethic
* A strong team player with excellent communication skills both in writing and verbally
* This position will be 50% office based and 50% field based although this could fluctuate depending in business requirements.
