The requirement is for a Senior Consultant (Military Communications and Information Systems) to work on a range of projects particularly in the areas of: systems analysis, design, architecture definition, development, interoperability and through life management. The Senior Consultant (Military Communications and Information Systems) will be expected to - Successfully deliver consultancy assignments Support the delivery of engineering projects and manage teams Provide a responsive, customer focused service to external and internal clients Interface with external customers/suppliers on technical aspects Conduct technical investigations and root cause analysis Develop recommendations, solutions and reports Participate actively in requirements and design reviews. Support Validation and Verification activities. Prepare technical reports to show compliance to appropriate standards and requirements. Mentor junior staff Support the development of bids, and responses to tenders The successful Senior Consultant (Military Communications and Information Systems) will have the following skills, experience and knowledge - Defence industry experience and domain knowledge Experience of delivering across the systems engineering lifecycle in the information systems domain Knowledge of ISO 15288 and ISO 42010 Knowledge and experience within the service industry The ability to apply a model driven engineering approach to address stakeholder concerns, requirements and needs. Experience of Systems Engineering modelling tools and languages Previous consultancy experience associated with military communications and information systems.
