Our Client
Our client is a Global leader in the manufacturing of products within the Domestic Heating Sector

Brief
Currently seeking an ACCOUNT MANAGER for the London South region, who will be responsible for selling their range of Domestic Heating Products. .
Responsibilities:
• Sales Calls
• CPD Presentations
• Business Plans
• Reporting and Forecasting
• To push our client package into the market place and uphold strong brand name
• Develop existing customer base
• Develop new business and ensure they meet AEI standards.

Previous Experience and Competencies:
• Sales Experience
• Knowledge of the Heat Pump or Heating Industry
• Technical/Product Knowledge
• HNC in Mechanical Engineering preferable
• Educate to GCSE Level or equivalent

Must have experience in calling on the Local Authorities, etc..

As a result of continued growth, immediate openings exist with an international industry leader in the supply and service of industrial process, refrigeration, gas treatment and compressions systems to the energy, oil, gas and chemical industries on a global basis.

POSITION – SENIOR BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
Reporting to the General Manager you will work with both the local team and their fabrication facilities. You will be responsible for sales of process systems and compression equipment to new customers as well as the existing customer base consisting of oil and gas producers, process gas companies, engineering firms and EPC contractors throughout Europe.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years experience in design, equipment sales, or package engineering preferably servicing an international client base. The successful candidates will demonstrate strong motivation, work ethic, organisation and time management skills and a strong aptitude for sales. Excellent communication, both written and oral and presentation skills are required.

Responsibilities include:
• Preparation of proposals ensuring proper process design, equipment selection and price estimating.
• Travel to European markets and other locations within the region is required.
• Making production presentations to customers
• Submitting and following up on current proposals
• Negotiating orders and ensuring a smooth project release
• Soliciting enquiries
• Maintaining existing and prospecting for new clients
• Strong client management experience and the ability to work seamlessly between various international locations, time zones and work cultures

Other requirements include:
• Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering preferred. A combination of other technical education and work experience will be considered.
• Previous sales experience in the Gas Processing Industry or the sale of reciprocating compressor equipment is preferred for this role.
• Excellent interpersonal skills working in a team environment.
• Highly motivated and ability to build strong customer relationships.
• Ability to balance interdepartmental responsibilities to ensure successful completion of projects from point of sale to commissioning.
• Preference given to multi-lingual candidates with flexibility for extensive international travel.
