Our client, a leader in the Broadcasting Industry, currently require a test engineer to test and repair transmitter modules returned for repair or exchange by customers.

Role

Working in the Transmitter Repair Centre, reporting to the Technical Services Director you will play a key part in providing customers with a first class service and excellent turnaround.
You will ensure that customer repairs and exchanges are carried out within specified time periods
Complete repair documentation and report on any deviations from equipment specifications
You will develop test procedures and fixtures, ensuring that processes comply with ISO 9001 standards
Maintain transmitter stock accuracy and ensure repair components are readily available

Requirements

HND in Electronics or equivalent with experience of manufacturing, techniques and equipment alignment

Role:

Provide a lead role to members of the Central Materials Team , co-ordinate and ensure the safe, efficient, secure and controlled receipt, storage and movement of factory stocks / materials along with the accurate inputting of various transactions, record updating and reporting, as required.
