The FMP contracts provide fleet operators of gas turbine engines with a comprehensive and flexible engine maintenance and financial planning tool; providing cashflow stability and engine maintenance predictability and reliability.
Responsibilities include:
Management of assigned fleet management contracts and customers.
Build and maintain relationships at appropriate levels with customers to understand their needs, to resolve any issues and to tailor the FMP service offering.
Coordinate with customers to schedule repair and overhaul events and to generate forecasts to assist with shop planning.
Develop engineering specifications and workscopes for engine repair and overhaul events to ensure compliance with customer and FMP contracts.
Perform an engineering assessment of all current contracts and liaise with Engineers to evaluate and apply current and new Service Bulletins and repair schemes.
Previous experience working to EASA standards.
Provide event cost control through workscopes, cost estimate and invoice review.
Work with the shop and the customer to identify and implement cost reductions.
Monitor FMP plan status by performing quarterly and annual reviews.
Provide technical and commercial input and analysis for generation of new FMP proposals and support specific sales campaigns accordingly.
Perform on-site operational and engineering reviews with operators to identify engine fleet reliability improvements and beneficial contract changes.
The ideal candidate will have extensive maintenance and engineering experience with aircraft gas turbine engines, preferably with a working knowledge of gas turbine engine types. An engineering degree or aircraft maintenance license/approvals and a business qualification would be highly useful. The position requires someone with strong communication and interpersonal skills who can establish a high level of trust and credibility with the customer's senior technical management. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills and a high level of commercial acumen is also a necessity to resolve contractual issues and to negotiate key contract changes with customers. The successful candidate must have a strong desire to learn and develop within the role and within the wider organisation.

Supply Chain Manager
Our client currently requires and experienced Supply Chain Manager to undertake the procurement of machined parts, electrical components, tooling and workshop consumables within budget, timescales and quality requirements. You will also aim to improve supply chain performance and processes and effectively manage the procurement team. The role requires both the technical skills and strategic vision to develop excellence in the Supply Chain function.
Key Responsibilities
Provide visible and supportive leadership for a purchasing team of varying experience in order to develop key supplier and internal client relationships and make Supply Chain an integral part of business activities
Instigate a strategy that clearly defines Supply Chain objectives and measures for performance improvement that are clearly aligned with overall business objectives
Procure electrical components & machined items in budget & timescales using the MRP system (Progress Plus)
Implement effective processes that monitor material delivery and quality
Progress items in to required timescales ensuring that overall project milestones are achieved
Liaise with engineers, shop floor staff and other teams as required
Develop the use of the MRP system
Ensure that all documentation is kept accurate and up to date in accordance with BS EN 9001:2008 and AS9100
Liaise and negotiate with suppliers and where required, customers
Introduce commercially sound pricing arrangements with key suppliers. This will enable greater communication with existing suppliers and formalise relationships to secure supply
Develop & maintain a suitable number of qualified & commercially allied suppliers
Establish a supplier qualification program that drives continuous improvement and enables pro-active measurement of various performance metrics, from On-time Delivery to quality of product supplied
Skills, Experience and Educational Requirements
Experienced in Supply Chain Management in a fast moving engineered to order manufacturing business
Thorough understanding of Supply Chain Management operational concepts surrounding production planning, scheduling, purchasing, supplier selection, inventory control, logistics, stockroom operations, and shipping
Full knowledge of materials planning systems (MRP/ERP) requirements
