TITLE:
Strategic Account Specialist
REPORTING TO:
Strategic Account Manager
MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:
• Responsible for growing and retaining client accounts through client meetings and building relationships
• Working typically with Medical and Nursing Managers at NHS Trusts to raise awareness of and sell the breadth of the companies products and services.
• Responsible for pro actively sourcing new clients in the healthcare sector; working with the companies clients operations team to secure that new business.
• The ability to operate effectively at a high customer service level is essential as are excellent communication skills and intimacy with the company value proposition to our customers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Identify growth opportunities through a deep understanding of the company market place and clients
• Consolidate, develop and leverage client relationships in strategic accounts to identify and deliver incremental opportunities for growth.
• Accountability for maintenance of account plans for those accounts of which they are responsible for.
• Lead sales opportunities whilst working with the clients operations team
• Acts as a critical interface between hospitals/trusts and the companies wider account team to deliver growth
• Identify and contribute to the development of new propositions
• Ensure that there is accuracy in SAS element of pipeline reporting
• Achieve quarterly and annual targets
• Articulate corporate message at all levels.
• To manage a positive presence – motivating self and others and to work together as a team with your colleagues and provide full support to your team manager
• To attend meetings and training as required
• To ensure that policies, procedure and reporting systems are adhered to.
• To review agreed objectives/action plan on a monthly basis to ensure they are reflective of evolving business requirements.
• Continually develop own knowledge and skills in line with departmental, organisational, market and customer requirements.
