Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Our Client are a well-known fmcg manufacture based near Derby, they produce for major supermarkets, & licensed premises. Due to completion of a capital project they are looking to recruit an electrically biased multi skilled engineer to join their existing team.
You will be electrically biased with good hands on mechanical faultfinding & planned maintenance experience. Working on a continental 4 on 4 off shift, which includes days & nights, you will be involved in breakdown, planned and general maintenance on high-speed process machinery. They operate Allan Bradley plc’s and experience would be helpful to your application but not essential. Knowledge of ISO standards and HACCP would be beneficial as well as hands on CMMS knowledge. The ideal candidate will we or have been working within a beverage or food industry.

Reporting to the Head of Engineering with 8 direct reports, your role will be to ensure that the engineering department runs smoothly in line with current company strategies and ensuring that all machinery schedules are accurate. Improvement of processes, reliability and cost base in conjunction with the maintennace, project & quality teams. Deal with legalisation of all aspects of the engineering department. You will have a good knowledge of productional and operational staff development. You will provide guidance and effective communication to site teams and support the teams with H&S, legalisation & HACCP standards.
Qualified to HNC ideally Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Instrumentation. You will need a working knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques. You will need to have budget management control to £500,000. Working within a Food or FMCG industry.
