Take a lead in est. governance structures across the ICT Service to ensure decision making takes place in a controlled, transparent environment. Gain support for service improvement initiatives from ICT service management, negotiating for resources & contributing to business cases where req'd.

Along with other ICT Service Operations Managers, develop & deliver a project to implement ITIL service management best practice across the service. Lead on the strategic dev. of the approach to ICT asset & licenses, using knowledge of techn. dev. & industry best practice to inform decision making. Ensure that the Strategy & Governance function is underpinned by best practice ITIL-based processes, & that these processes are regularly reviewed as part of the commitment to continuous service improvement. Manage the Strategy & Governance function’s overall budget & contribute to the annual revision of service charges in relation to the service catalogue & service level agreements (SLAs).
