Our client is now looking to recruit a Supervising Social Worker to run a new Emergency Placement Project covering the Gloucestershire area. You will cover the following duties:
To participate in recruitment campaigns maintained by the agency.
To complete the assessment process using BAAF Form F for presentation of approval
To present applications to the fostering panel
To ensure all carers have access to necessary training, in house or outside provision.
To review the approval of foster carers annually and report to the panel
To visit each carer once a month when they have no placement and at least fortnightly when they do have placements
To seek to facilitate foster carer support groups if carers wish this
To cover the 24 hour support service on a rota with other staff.

You will have previous experience of working within Fostering, have a Social Work qualification and be registered with the GSCC.

We are a Childrens Services Organisation providing service improvement to Local Authorities and Health Trusts. We operate across 3 divisions; consultancy, resourcing and training and development.
We currently have a need for an operations manager to be based in our Head Office in Bromsgrove.
This is an essential role for the smooth running and operation of Outcomes UK. By maintaining a close relationship with the Senior Management team and by overseeing the administrative team, you will have an overview of all areas of operation within the business. You will tie together the activity of each division ensuring that no areas lack capacity and that opportunities for 'cross selling' are not missed. You will be the company focal point for achieving efficiencies, ensuring systems are effective and internal stakeholder satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
• Day to day Management of Head Office
• In conjunction with divisional managers of each service, provide management of Administrative team to include day to day operational line management.
• Regular meetings with divisional managers / directors to ensure a good understanding of operations across the company
• Providing general 'cross divisional' link between teams.
• Maintain excellent communication between staff, managers and across divisions.
• Monitor and check that individual divisions are following procedures and quality assurance requirements accordingly.
• Attendance at alternate Senior Management team meetings
• Dealing with complex queries and complaints on the telephone and by email; ensuring that they are dealt with by the relevant director
• Devising and conducting induction programmes
• Organising office maintenance and repair work
• Supervising the implementation of new office systems and processes
• Reviewing and updating policies
• Acting as main link to external suppliers and sister companies who provide HR / Finance / Facilities / Fleet services
• As directed, deputise in the absence of Senior Management Team
• Identify any contracts or issues that will require extra time and resources - maintaining efficiency and effectiveness at all times
• Maintaining log of all annual leave and ensuring effective cover.
• In the absence of Senior Management team, Authorisation of invoices - ensuring that payments / billing is correct.
