To £45K
This is an exciting opportunity for a copywriter with a science background to join the dynamic creative department of this award-winning healthcare agency.
BACKGROUND
Our client is one of the UK's Top 50 Advertising Agencies (Campaign November 2007) and a leading agency in the healthcare sector. The agency has a turnover in excess of £8 million and one of the most impressive client lists in the sector. Current clients include Abbott, AstraZeneca, Bayer Schering, Genzyme, Kendle and Quintiles.
The agency has a very strong track record and has experienced sustained, client-driven growth over the past few years. Most notable recent campaigns include the launch of BuTrans for Napp, the revitalisation of Seroquel for AstraZeneca and the Sorted in10 DTC campaign for Bayer & GSK.
The copywriter, ideally with previous experience in a healthcare advertising agency. The position will involve working as part of an in-house creative team, tackling challenging creative briefs and producing a wide range of communications materials, including radio and TV commercials, for both healthcare professionals and patients. From a journal ad for an antipsychotic agent to a training manual for oncology nurses: a direct mail piece on the subject of erectile dysfunction to an patient information pack for HIV sufferers - the job is hugely demanding but infinitely varied.
Candidates should be strong conceptual thinkers who can vary their writing style to the target audience.
