The Role

Working with the Engineering Director and supporting the Design team, you'll lead the project, managing resources, controlling finances and meeting technical and commercial objectives to ensure that projects succeed.

The Person
The role requires an experienced Project Manager with a background in marine or defence related engineering, with particular emphasis on design of ship structure and equipment; this role would also suit a Naval Architect who has moved into project management.

In addition to the above, the successful candidate will ideally have experience of AUTOCAD 2007 or later, the use of 3D modelling with Autodesk Inventor and experience using FEA packages such as Strand 7 and other engineering software.

Flexibility is essential as travel within the UK and overseas will be required.

*Have experience in the maintenance of mechanical and electrical engineering services in buildings.
*Have experience of energy conservation methods.

We are looking for several dynamic individuals who want to take their first step into the world of recruitment. Individuals with a background in telephone sales or a face to face sales environment. (Applicants with recruitment agency experience will also be considered).

The initial role will involve prospecting new Clients to uncover new vacancies that the recruitment team can manage, therefater moving into a candidate resourcing and ideally a full recruitment consultant position.

These positions offer training, career progression and the opportunity to work with a dedicated and knowledgeable technical recruitment team in a small office environment.

DescriptionRegister your CV The role of an IS Support Technician is to provide a primary point of contact for employees seeking assistance with IS issues. Dealing with problems that are logged via e-mail, telephone or in person. Responsibilities of this role include installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining and upgrading all PC hardware, software and related equipment to ensure optimal performance. This role works closely with clients, processes incidents and assists with defining improvement actions needed. To deal with all IS procurement requirements.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS / TRAINING
Certifications in MS Operating Systems, A+ Certification, or MS Office application.
Excellent technical knowledge of PC, laptop and infrastructure hardware and operating systems.
Hands-on hardware troubleshooting experience.
INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE
Relevant experience gained in a busy IS department
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES
Strong customer-service orientation with proven ability to communicate at all levels.
Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with excellent attention to detail. Methodical and organized in their approach to work
Tenacity when faced with difficult problems.
Ability to quickly understand instructions and use own initiative. The successful candidate must be one who can be relied upon to complete a job without close supervision.
