DescriptionRegister your CV I need a Food Scientist or Food Technologist with experience of industrial scale food processing technologies for cereals and grain based products, especially processing and formulating finished products such as breakfast cereals and grain-based snacks. However, this is no run-of-the-mill product design job as your task will be to find loopholes in a competitors manufacturing/process patents and assist in the creation and filing of a new counter-patent! So, in addition to the product design you will need familiarity with process equipment and conditions used to manufacture completed grain-based products together with some previous exposure to Patents and Intellectual Property. You don't need to be a Patents expert but you should at least understand how the Patents system works.

The initial contract for the Food Scientist/Food Technologist is for three months but there is good potential for extension or possibly going 'temp-to-perm'. Previous 'contract' experience is not critical and 'first time' contractors are welcome to apply -we will assist with the set up process. Rate is negotiable but we anticipate somewhjre in the region of £25-35 per hour (equivalent to a salaried role of around £60,000 pa !)

Requirements:
