Additional Information Task Summary: *Providing technical services in the development and delivery of all aspects of PLD / FPGAs from requirements development, concept and detailed design, coding, synthesis and through to complete verification. *Model based design and coding approaches for PLD / FPGAs would be an advantage. *Managing own tasks within schedules and budgets to meet programme needs. Processes: *Working knowledge of design for high integrity systems *Requirements management and Configuration Control. *Experience of FPGA and digital embedded systems development lifecycle. Tools: *Mentor Graphics Tool set to include ModelSim. *Vendor specific tools - Actel, Xilinx. *Working knowledge of Matlab and Simulink would be an advantage. Role Title: Technical Author To write technical documentation in Standard Generalised Mark-up Language (SGML), Extensible Mark-up Language (XML) and traditional formats for the Company's products in accordance with individual contractual requirements, to enable safe and effective operation and repair of the equipment. The role covers the whole product lifecycle through design, development and in-service support. Installation Mechanical Fitter - 6 month contract - Didcot Oxfordshire The Installation Mechanical Fitter will participate in the building of neutron beamlines. They will work with Lead Technicians and Fitters installing and building components and sub assemblies from engineering drawings. They must know how to set up and align installation jigs and fixtures to achieve installation tolerances required by components and assemblies. They must also have the necessary skills required to complete agreed modifications to supplied components and jigs.
