Key Accountabilities:
• Production of monthly MI for review by Financial Controller
• Reconciliation of balance sheet control accounts
• Production of accounts
• Monthly invoice production
• Reconciliation of daily integrated sales journals
• Daily processing of bank statement transactions and bank reconciliation
• Assistance with the annual budget and rolling forecast process
• Production and maintenance of the MI reporting models
• VAT return and national statistics forms
• Coding of monthly staff expenses
• Monthly import of actual into purchase order control spreadsheets
• Standing in for Financial Controller as necessary
• Occasional duties on corporate events
• Adhoc reporting, duties and dealing with internal & external queries as required
Skills and Knowledge
• A graduate caliber, part-qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA)
• Previous Practice experience an added advantage
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong technical ability
• Outstanding organisation skills
• Good I.T. skills and be competent in the use of Microsoft Office applications
• Strong financial literacy
• Confident in your abilities and able to communicate at all levels
• Ability/experience of a multi functional environment
• Someone who can work to and meet deadlines
• Take on any ad hoc tasks when required
• Ability to use initiative to resolve problems and suggest improvements to improve current procedures.
• A strong team player and collaborative working style

What The Role Requires:
