Duties & Responsibilities
Area Manager - Care Team
The Area Manager will be responsible for a regional territory and will plan, co-ordinate and lead the assessment and internal verification processes and procedures within this curriculum area. You will act in a supervisory capacity, supporting assessors in the delivery of Train2Gain and apprenticeship programmes.
Essential Skills
Appropriate NVQ level 3 / 4 professional qualifications
Holds Assessors' and Verifiers' awards (D32/D33, A1 & D34, V1)
Experience as an Internal Verifier
Substantial record of work experience in chosen soc area
Experience of supervising or managing others
Ability to lead and organise others
Effective written and verbal communication skills & interpersonal skills
Good organisation and presentation skills
Ability to work without direct supervision
Ability to use discretion and own initiative
Enthusiasm, commitment and the ability to work in a team
Be willing to work as flexibly as possible to meet the needs of the service
