A Specification Technologist required to prepare technical specifications to ensure legal, brand and retailer compliance, as well as ensuring sites receive the necessary information to enable the manufacture of products which meet quality and technical standards.
The Role:Specification Technologist / Product Specification Technologist
* Complete and issue final product specifications using online software systems.
* Prepare technical documents in response to customer requests.
* Calculate nutrition and ingredient declarations
* Support the new product development and innovation process
Qualifications / Skills / Experience: Specification Technologist / Product Specification Technologist
* Degree or equivalent in Food Science or Food Technology or relevant experience working in a similar role
* A keen interest in food science
* Excellent attention to detail as well as planning and organisational skills

THE ROLE: PURCHASING & STORES CO-ORDINATOR: The role is to assist the Purchasing & Contracts Controller in procurement, tendering and contractual Processes, assisting Buyer in purchasing of all inventory through SAP MRP re-order System. You will be committed to a career in purchasing and will be assited in qualifying for CIPS.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: PURCHASING & STORES CO-ORDINATOR:
* Develop cost saving opportunities with suppliers and drive down overall inventory holding
* Assist Purchasing Contracts Controller with KPI reporting to include vendor evaluation,
Supplier conformance
* Assist in good in/out of the stores area as required
* Participate in month end inventory analysis and stock balancing
* Daily/monthly stock control
EXPERIENCE / SKILLS: PURCHASING & STORES C O-ORDINATOR:
* Experience in a purchasing role or similar
* In process of studying towards MCIPS or aspirations to do so
* Familiar with goods in/ out, stock control
* Excellent computer skills in Excel, Word, Powerpoint. Sound knowledge of SAP/MRP
* Forklift Licence useful.
