CNC MILLER (Monday to Thursday 5am-5pm)

Our client based in the Ipswich Area are currently looking to employ two skilled and versatile CNC Millers to join their team. An established and growing business requires two permanent members of staff who is competent and skilled in CNC Milling and a good working knowledge of Fanuc and Siemans controls.

The ideal candidate will have a solid experience in precision engineering with being able to programme, set and operate CNC Machinery.

Engineering Manager

Purpose
To ensure the vehicle range is always compliant with the requirments of legislation and regulation in all current and new markets.

Experience
Throrough knowledge of moor vehicle design, an experiece in the Automotive product design, test, validation and manufacturing. To be proficient in legidlation, homologation, test and validating planning and recording and delievering such plans.

Education and Training
Ideally a degree level education, alternatively HNC/HND minimum with an engineering Apprenticeship in the motor industry.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Create and maintain a complete set of vehicle test procedures, specifications, records of SMT puiblished data and forthcoming legislation issues which affect our products.

Create obtain and maintain all necessary homologation paperwork and documents for vehicles, systems and component Approvals.

Read, record, store and understand the impact upon our products of all regulations and update our management and employees of the impact of these.

Provide signatory approval for all designs to ensure compliance with legal and homologated issues.

Faciliate, organise and control all COP audits (type approvals) with VCA

Undertake assesments of the overall performance and capabilities of design proposals with a view towards legislation and homologation.

A well established FMCG company in the Peterborough area are seeking a Planning Manager to join their team. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager you will be responsible for planning productions and materials to ensure the efficient operation of production facilities.

Your responsibilities will include:
Recruitment, management and training of the planning team.
Ensure stock levels are sufficient and economic
Schedule production resources based on sales forecasts and capacity available.
Design and maintain capacity modeling, daily planning, packaging and material control systems.
Systems to monitor demand and service levels, material usage, sourcing levels, waste and obsolescence.
Produce MI
Ensure production areas always have correct materials available.
Develop relationships with key suppliers.
Design and implement planning, material and forecast systems.
Maintain links with sales, customer service and factory capacity.
Ensure correct quantities are called off from the supplier.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of the chilled food industry, five years management experience within the supply chain and have experience of dealing with major multiples. You will be highly computer literate, have exceptional attention to detail, be able to work to tight deadlines, have strong influencing skills and be an effective communicator.
