There is an open access service, one to one counselling, advice & information, supportive group sessions, complementary therapy, referral for detox and support for relatives and carers.
We are seeking a Head of Counselling to take day-today responsibility for the management and clinical governance of the counselling service; to be responsible for all aspects of recruitment and training; to lead on the introduction of new standards and policies within the counselling service; and to ensure an integrated service through the provision of assessment, care planning and appropriate referral.
Applicants must possess a counselling diploma or equivalent qualification and it would be highly desirable to have NVQ4 in Management or equivalent, and have BACP accreditation.
