Our client is the UK's leading food manufacturing company. They are looking to recruit a compliance coordinator ensuring the company meet all legislative, company and customer requirements. As a food manufacturing company, strict guidelines need to be adhered to; a thorough and methodical candidate is required for this post.

As compliance coordinator you will be responsible for:
•Coordinating and communicating activities with respect to standards, making sure business is protected and compliant with customer and company policies and practices
•Record and interpret trends, convey findings and advise on appropriate action
•Work alongside QA/Operational team ensuring work is carried out to customer specification (from raw materials to manufactured product), providing satisfactory client visits/audits
•Monitor, maintain and publish effective internal/external KPI's
•Communicate the companies HACCP process and QMS systems, monitor effective delivery of food safety and consistency of quality process and product, sharing “best practice”
•Understand the majority of the supply chain and drive technical improvement at all stages in line with company requirements
•Support across all teams, providing effective training and development where agreed. Standing in for compliance manager when needed.

All applicants will need 5 years technical, legal, food/process technology and food industry experience. You will need experience of BRC accreditation and be a qualified HACCP practitioner. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and an excellent team player is required. Desirable experience of various food industries (ideally ambient and chilled) would be a great advantage as well as being qualified to carry out internal and external audits, CIEH training certificate also desirable.
