The Project Planner will report to the Major Projects Controller and liaise with the internal project team and customer stakeholders.
Major projects involve a high degree of planning both critical path and resource allocation, therefore the Project Planner is a key role in the support team for the major project group.
Duties include the day to day planning of activities coordinated with the client and against the master programme, which will help to ensure that the right people are aware of key actions that they must have completed. Key resources will have been allocated to specific tasks and the overall programme objectives are able to be met. The role will require close relationship with the Major Projects Controller and the Project Administrator, who will responsible for producing a schedule of reports and where appropriate management information for onward transmission to internal and client senior management.
The Project Planner should have experience in the planning and organisation of large projects and be used to working under pressure. The projects should ideally have been technology related and in a construction environment.
The candidate should be organised, flexible and able to work under pressure and to deadlines, whilst having working experience of Microsoft Office suite and Planning tools as required.
You will need to able to communicate orally and have good written English. A previous knowledge of project planning and delivery would be adavantageous. Good secondary education ideally to GCSE level or equivalent would be necessary.

To Commission and certify installations to BS5839 Pt1-2002. Carry out detailed site surveys for quotation purposes. Develop training of existing Call out engineers and be responsible for the smooth operation of the Call out Team. Responsible for the all CAD fire alarm upgrade drawings. Key accountabilities:
