DescriptionRegister your CV Managing a team of 6 Field Auditors, as Field Audit Manager your duties will include:
* Review areas of business risk and ensure that appropriate audit checks are in place to mitigate risk and address issues that may arise. This principally involves the design/revision of relevant audit programmes for use by Field Auditors.
· Implement an agreed annual audit plan with regards to the frequency of audits. This could involve a risk-based approach to the frequency of audit.
· Ensure that the above audit programmes are communicated to the business and that Senior Management input is sought into the scope and frequency of the various audit programmes.
· Ensure that the annual audit plan is met.
· Review, both in the field and centrally, work performed by field auditors to ensure that work is completed to a satisfactory standard.
· Assist field auditors with the resolution of issues and complete field audits for designated regions in line with the annual audit plan.
· Ensure that issues highlighted on audits are addressed to the appropriate level of management and that actions and follow-up checks are in place for the resolution of issues.
· Ensure that exception reports are in place to highlight potential issues with regards to areas of business risk and that any significant exceptions are investigated.
· Put in place an audit plan for the completion of operational audits at “function” level, e.g. payroll, fleet and debt recovery.
· Ensure that sales and incentive programmes are audited as required.
· Ensure that audit result databases are maintained.
· Complete a monthly report summarising results, issues and trends.
· Write and communicate policy with regards to Audit policies, e.g. bank holiday banking procedures.
· To ensure that suspected integrity issues are objectively and thoroughly investigated. To advise and agree with line management and Human Resources Department the appropriate action to be taken with regards to investigative issues.
· Put in place a formal investigation policy to support the above.

Previous experience within a field audit environment is essential.
Management experience within a field audit environment is preferred.
A strong understanding of business operating systems and policies and procedures would be highly advantageous.
A good standard of literacy and numeracy is required.
The ability to remain confidential and professional at all times when dealing with sensitive information is essential.

To have the ability to follow through a task to its conclusion, following up any additional tasks as they arise.
