This is a great opportunity to join a market leader in the Financial Services/Investments Sector. Outline of Role:
To generate an increase in net sales and retain assets through the creation and development of relationships with intermediaries. These intermediaries will be primarily FA’s although may include Nationals, Network members, Life Cos and Wealth Managers.

Job Description:

- To be responsible for achieving the regional sales target through client meetings, calls, emails, events and corporate hospitality etc.

- Exhibit the skills, knowledge and ability to be consultative through the sales cycle and through every engagement with clients, in pursuit of achieving the sales target.

- To analyse sales/industry/client data and derive a target list of intermediaries. Develop strategies and tactics that will assist in the achievement of sales target, and present this to the sales management team bi-annually.

- To identify, develop and maintain individual relationships with key personnel within a geographically designated list of IFA contact companies through telephone contact and individual meetings and group presentations. To understand the intermediaries business through research and a structured, planned approach executed against the tactics described above.

- Work closely with the RSM on joint sales/marketing initiatives for the shared geographic territory and to host or co-host corporate hospitality.

- To keep fully updated with regard to IP funds, market views and industry related topics.
- To message accurately and appropriately the philosophy, strategy, process and views of the IP fund managers and to articulate these together with market commentary and outlook to your intermediary client base.

Skills Required for Role:

- Minimum 3 years experience in a financial sector sales environment;
- Ability to demonstrate sound initiatives and take on ideas to be sold to market;
- Experience of producing quality reports, letters and general communications;
- Sound IT skills, including Word and Excel. Must be open to learning new technologies.
- Comprehensive knowledge of financial markets and investment products.
- Ability to understand the stock market and investment products;
- Educated to degree level or equivalent with relevant industry qualifications e.g. IMC, IAC1, IAC3, FPC 3/2.
- Full driving licence required. Ideally educated to at least A Level or equivalent;
- Flexible regarding working hours and able to commit to a reasonable amount of travel
- Excellent communication and influencing skills in order to maximise sales opportunities in a demanding cultural environment
- Self-motivated, organised and methodical with good time management skills
