The role To ensure all products are inspected and assessed in line with inspection procedures, Ensure that arrivals of product are inspected and assessed according to customer requirements. Support the commercial team by providing accurate QC information. To develop and maintain a sustainable, balanced working relationship between service providers from a quality and production perspective. To ensure all intake reports are completed accurately and filed correctly and communicated to the relevant commercial team, Quality Manager and supplier in a timely manner. Ensure working areas are clean and to an acceptable standard. The candidate Technical knowledge and experience of fresh produce industry ideally fruit Good I.T. Proficiency (Outlook, Excel, Word, Navision). Works effectively - tackling immediate demands decisively, whilst retaining a broad awareness of emerging requirements. Demonstrates a good sense of priorities, structures workload effectively and delivers consistently good results. Able to communicate effectively, employing tact and discretion and demonstrating a genuine desire to provide a good service. Willingness to be hands on, work as part of a flexible team providing support or cover for colleagues. Demonstrating an understanding of the business, processes and system procedures. Some operational experience and an understanding of commercial requirements would be beneficial.
