Job Profile: To assist the Management Accountant in matters relating to the Finance Department Job Duties: • Allocation of cash, cheque and automatic bank receipts to the sales ledger • Manual payment postings including nominal ledger cash and direct debit postings • Reconciliation of the cash balances in the ledger to bank statements • Liaison with the credit control and purchase ledger functions regarding receipt and / or payment anomalies • Booking of bank transfers, including all cash movements relating to the bank accounts • Conversion of applications into sales invoices, giving consideration to discounts and retentions taken • Sending VAT receipts to customers when requested • Setting up new staff onto the expenses payment system • Analysis and posting of employee expenses information • Preparation of proposed payment runs for employee expenses • Provision of assistance to branches regarding the procedures and controls operation in respect of expenses administration An immediate start is available.
