This busy temporary post will involve Reception, Administration, and Customer Service Duties at our offices in Birmingham City Centre. Personnel & Care Bank provide Qualified and Unqualified Care, Support and Social Work staff to Local Authorities, Charities, and Private Organisations across the West and East Midlands. We require a strong Administrator to support our branch for a minimum of 2 months to cover extended leave from 05th March until mid May 2012.
The role will involve meeting and greeting candidates visiting the branch, answering all incoming calls for the branch, clearing candidate files for compliance including gaining references for candidates registered, designing and sending out marketing material to clients and candidates, collating Management Information for clients, entering information onto our internal system and updating this daily and providing all round admin support for 2 business areas of the branch.
Successful candidates will have a minimum of 12 months experience within a similar role, will have excellent customer service and organisational skills and will preferably have worked within the Recruitment Industry previously.

To manage the home to a high standard ensuring it fully complies with the National Minimum standards for Children Homes and all other legal and contractual obligations. To implement the Home's statement of purpose and the policies and procedures that governs the day to day management of the home. To proactively promote the Home and recruit children to the home To provide a first class residential care service to children in our care. To work alongside the Education Manager, ensuring that the residential care services and education provision are effectively integrated. Duties & Responsibilities: 1.To manage the rota and ensure that the home is adequately staffed at all times.
2.To undertake an effective needs assessment of referrals and make recommendations to the Directors about the suitability of the home for the child and the proposed fees to be charged.
3.To be responsible for ensuring that placement plans are developed, regularly reviewed and updated for each child in our care.
4.To establish a service for children that is safe, homely and comfortable.
5.To be responsible for ensuring that children are encouraged and supported to make decisions about their lives and to participate in the running of the home.
6.To ensure that a full range of activities are developed within the home in consultation with the children and other staff.
7.To ensure that the health needs of the children are met and that they are provided with healthy, nutritious meals that meet their dietary needs. As much as possible the children are involved in planning and preparing their meals.
8.To ensure that children are protected from bullying, abuse and discrimination and that any allegation of bullying, abuse or discrimination is appropriately addressed.
Work Hours: You will be expected to work at anytime as part of the care team, including evening, night and weekend and to be on call to respond to the needs of the home as required.
