Our client is one of the UK’s premier food manufacturers and is a leading supplier of chilled based products for the leading multiples; they are now seeking a dynamic Despatch Team Manager, in a role that offers immediate challenges and rewards.
You will be responsible for the management and performance of the despatch Department including the evaluation of current processes to identify opportunities for improved efficiencies and performance, development of solutions and improvements.
The candidate must have up to 5 years experience in a similar role, preferably in supply and chain and in a chilled food environment. They are looking for someone with exceptional leadership, communication and organisational skills.
Candidates that have client management experience coupled with haulage experience will be of interest as well as the skill to work with a multicultural workforce and communicate well on all levels.
You must be able to work within a fast moving, seasonal, volume operator and have experience of man management. Previous experience of working in a similar role for a Chilled Food company would be an advantage.
